Give a score between 1 and 10 to each question (Click on the circle below your chosen number).American psychologist Donn Byrne devised this after 20 years of research into relationships. He says love is a mixture of five factors, with sexual attraction the most important The others are mental stimulation, a desire for intimacy, the need to be wanted and a fear of losing your loved one.

Professor Byrne, of the State university of New York says people do confuse deep friendship with true passion. He argues that the five factors listed in his equation "generally spring out of friendship". But he adds, "If you have those emotions for a partner to higher degree than for a friend, then you are in the throes of passionate love"Not everyone agrees, Romantic novelist Jo Beverley says: "It may prevent a few bad marriages but it will never change the course of true love"

If answer is negative ( e.g. -75) Then you have mistaken your feelings for your partner and are unlikely to enjoy a lasting passion.

If answer is positive (e.g. 75 ) Then you are in the throes of a passionate love.

If the answer is not as you wish then can I suggest that you clear the form and 'tweak' your answers a little ;-)

Score will be between -75 and 75

-75 being the maximum amount of hatred? and 75 the maximum amount of love. Though you must hate all your friends to get this score!

See you aren't going to get +75 unless you hate everybody except your lover and +10 is possibly quite good.
